With 'The Magpie', our first film (in partnership with Aftermath Films) now touring the global festival circuit, it is time that we turned our eyes towards the future.
The vision we have for Hotlight Entertainment is an ambitious one. We plan to be committed to the production of strong and original stories in inventive and distinctive styles. In time, we want our stories to engage people on a global scale and resonate with people of all cultures. Whilst we are currently focusing our efforts on shorter form content, these films will act as launchpads for grander scale projects, which are already in development, and our journey towards feature film and TV productions.
We are not constraining ourselves to a particular genre yet we are drawn to stories that have a strong human core, one that explores an aspect of ourselves in an original and engaging fashion.
The company is still in its early days of growth. We have a number of active projects in development which we hope will lead to a number of highly exciting releases across 2021 and beyond. We have a long road ahead of us but I have every confidence in the excellent, skilled and dedicated team that we have assembled around us. With this approach, I for one cannot wait to see these plans unfold and to take you all on that journey with us.
